2001
ANOTHER YEAR has gone by and when looking back it's hard to believe all the success our dogs have been involved in.
For me, Uffe's wins were the most valuable. We had planned to bring him on tree events during 2001, Champion of Champions, the Miniature Schnauzer specialty CUP-01 and finally the Swedish Winner Show in Stockholm. His results talk for themselves. He won the Champion of Champions under the judges, Mr Harry Lehkonen, Fin, Mr Paul Stanton, Swe and Mr Joey Lim, Aus.

This year Uffe was invited for the third time and there were more than 40 of the most winning dogs from the year before that challenge him. Uffe was beautifully handled by Jannica, so I for the first time could follow him from ringside. It was great. An evening I will never forget!

Then a month later he won CUP-2001. This was his 4th BEST IN SHOW at the Swedish Miniature schnauzer- rings own honourable show held once a year. Everyone is there and this year there were more than 100 entries.

At last but definitely not least Uffe entered the Swedish Winner show in December in Stockholm with over 6500 entries. We hoped of course for the winner title but it Didn't stop by that. Uffe went BOB and also BIG and finally ended up as BEST IN SHOW 3rd. This is the forth time in a row he wins Group-2 at "Big Stockholm". I don't think no one ever has achieved that before. On top of that he was # 2 in the group 1997.

This years result from only one official show gave Uffe the 3rd place on the Skk list for group 2 and he ended up as # 15 on the Dog of the year list - all breeds.

Breed judge was Mrs Jenny Harrison-Smith, Group judge was Mrs Lisbeth Mach and for the BIS-final the Swedish Kennel Club had chosen Mrs Pamela Cross Stern, looking like a wonderful snow queen when she entered the ring!

The other big success of the year must of course be Diva. Ch Yankeegirl van de Havenstad. This absolute true schnauzer female is wonderful to show when she almost takes the breath away of a judging schnauzer specialist. It is fun to recognize the judges who really aprichiates a good type of a schnauzer. For us Diva represents just that. Her results talks for them selves being # 10 on SKK dog of the year list- all breeds after winning the big group 2. She will also be the Dog Of The Year awarded of the Swedish Schnauzer/Pinscher club.

Best In Show
with the judge Mrs Marit Sunde, Norway

Her biggest success this year was winning Best In Show in Halmstad while among others she beat "the dog of the year in Sweden 2001" the wonderful Scottish terrier Ch Raglan Rory, owner/breeder Dan Eriksson. She achived several BISS and BIS placements during 2001. Therefore she is now qualified and will be invited to the honourable Champion of Champions gala in March 2002.
